iv not purchased footy manager for PC since 2005 (i usualy buy the PSP version), however i downloaded the demo for 2010 today and im tempted to buy it.

The process speed at the start was quick and i flew through pre-season and all the friendlies + generated results. However, then i got to the league and each game takes around 5-10 minutes to generate the results. is this normal, or is it to do with my computer speed?

Luckily i can still do background work but theres only so much i can do!!!

    cheers

How good/new is your PC then?

When you started a new game, did you select all the available leagues? If you did, then no wonder it's slow...

Ah right, I forgot that it's just the demo (doh)

These are the "official" MINIMUM system requirements for FM10:

    Windows XP / Vista
1.4GHz processor for XP, or 2.0 GHz for Vista
512MB RAM for XP, or 1GB RAM for Vista
Graphic Card - 128MB Nvidia FX 5900 Ultra, ATI Radeon 9800, Intel 82915G/82910GL or better.

Double the processor speed and the amount of RAM, and I think you should be fine...
Do you have any idea about how much RAM you have on your computer or what the processor speed is?

You say double your prossesor speed? im not big on computers, is this something i'd need to buy or something i can ammend in the computer?

    cheers

    YHPM.

It does sound a bit odd that it's that slow though. Try that what I've sent you, but if not try and clear up some space on your PC. Get rid of programs you don't need/files you don't use.
