Signed a player that has 17 influence rating. Start of season it asks me to select my captain and he's not listed to be selected! One of the reasons I was after him was to be captain! Do players have to have been at the club a certain length of time before they can be selected as captain?
That happened to me once. No idea why, he was the only person on the list and i wanted him as captain the most out of all of them.
If you try going to tactics then team instructions, then select captains you might have to select him on that.</p>
Bloody annoying, offloaded last seasons captain and next highest rating is about 12! Been after this guy all through my first season.
That allows me to put him on the list in 3rd (so he'd take over on the field if captain and vice captain not playing) but won't let me drag him into the captain slot!
