played as Barnsley 6 times from start, relegated 6 times, 100% record, cant win away at all, sometimes win at home but not much, always loose 6 out of first 6, what formations do ppl play, do u use arrows for runs, what tactics do u use, ie attacking, defensive, width or not, creative freedom, push up or not, etc etc really pissing me off, i dont choose us any more but i want to
set all defensive players mentality to "FULL DEFENSE" in other words, right to the left hand side. put rest on slightly attacking then fiddle about
BOught Sigurdsson 21 yr old from reading, Easton from hamilton (Burnley just bought him in real life), sold muller, van hobbit, macken, diego, devaney. Bought Mark Little defender from Wolves young lad,
Try playing a 4-6-0 It works on the new game engine, especially against 442 teams. You need to get fast defenders and play with a high defensive line. Get three centre mids (or two and one DM) playing in middle. They have to have high stamina, tackling & passing and set them to closing down often. They will protect your back four and do all the challenging in centre of park. For the three AMC you want acceleration and pace to be high as well as dribbling, creativity and long shots high. Get them running with the ball often through the centre and taking a high amount of long shots. For a bit of a variation you could have the middle AMC high strength, passing, etc to act as a bit of a target man to hold up the ball for the ones either side to run off. You should score a pot load of goals despite not having any strikers. It maybe a bug in the game but it certainly works if you get it right.
I play 4-4-2 In 2021 at the moment, won a treble the last 3 seasons, Champions League and Premier League twice in a row and 2 FA Cups and a League Cup. Also 3 Community Shields in a row and 2 World Club Championships in a row And I've not cheated either! It's about getting into the Premier League and then sending scouts all over the world and bringing in youngsters with potential to make money on. I bought a Brazilian left winger when he was 16 and rejected a £65m bid from AC Milan a couple of seasons ago as he's about the best winger on the game. Suggestions are spend time creating training schedules for every different type of player (I've got about 8) and get in some good coaches (as many as you're allowed). Also bring in as many good loan players as possible. It's never easy I find the first couple of seasons if you start with a nothing reputation which I always do. I finished about 14th first season, then nearly got sacked in the second season as I was 4th bottom for a while but after recovering to midtable went up in the 3rd season in the play offs. Best advice: be patient cos it can drive you mad
Bit strange that you keep struggling, maybe you are too attacking with your tactics. Try a holding midfielder (Binya) and your wingers just behind the strikers rather than all the way back on the half way line. Worked for me when i was the reds, ended up playing champions league football but then i got bored.
If you want a challenge try what ive just started, play England and Scotland leagues on large database then pick a team in the Scottish Third division. Its solid, just started with Stenhousemuir and the calibre of players who you can sign are shocking.
