Anyone know of any decent tactics for the reds on FM2014, I've tried a 4-4-2 and won first 7 games but then dropped like a stone and can't seem to win anymore. I've tried changing formations, mentality, fluidity, touchline instructions etc but to no avail. Any ideas out there?
4-4-1-1 Full backs, central defenders, wingers, def playmaker set to defend, box to box midfielder, advanced playmaker and deep lying forward Set goalkeeper distribution to defenders. Short passing, fluid, counter attacking. Set these shouts: short passing, hassle opponents, stay on feet, stay disciplined. Have drop deeper if against stronger opposition, oh and drill crosses.
I've fallen out with Football Manager. Some of the ridiculous stuff that happens on the game is just not realistic and I think everything isn't as simple anymore.
Play wingbacks, and sign Keith Fahey and Gretar Steinssen in the first season. GK distribute to defenders, and strikers run into channels. Counter attack.
