following on from Ali's thread...........what did you do on your 18th?????

I got a coach up to roxy's in sheffield (it was big thing in the late 70's). I can't believe I had enough mates to fill a coach, I couldn't fill a vespa these days.  </p>

I don't remember much other than being involved in pulling an  ugly bird competetion and then being dropped off at birdwell roundabout and waving to my mates with my underkeks in one hand and my trousers in the other.</p>

 

Went round town and it was **** - we;; I'd been going out for about 6 months so it just didn't seem "daring" anymore because it was legal!

 

Got totally arseholed on Pina Colladas and Daquiries fell off the end of the jetty on the Island of Virgin Gorda and had Half the electricians on the Ark Royal covering for me for 2 days till i came round.

Heady Days.

Went to a pub the day before and got arrested for underage drinking.</p>

I bet the understanding constable used his comon sense and let you off with a jolly warning, telling you not to be such a scallywag. 

 

Banged on the door of the local pub at opening time....

walked in and ordered 2 bottles of Holsten Pils (I had no taste when I was 18!!) and a pint glass. After a couple of minutes I was presented with my drink, the delay having been caused by the landlord, Cliff, phoning my house to ask if I was old enough! I then partied until 6am, at which point it was suggested by a rather tired parent that playing "The Teddy Bears' Picnic" at full volume across the estuary that it was time to stop! Fortunately for Arnside Red, he wasn't our next-door neighbour at the time.

My 18th

was taken to The Fiesta in Sheff by my fiances mum & her bloke

21st got totalled at the Limit with Steve Singleton (ABC) and Paul Statham & Martin Winter(B-Movie) Janice, Lesley and Lally. Woke up 2 days later.

30th Phoenix in Chapeltown, Leeds. Not bad for a mother or 2 kids under school age

40th Tarn - my great re-emergence

Lol never once have I told my parents to f-off on any if these occasions

 

RE: My 18th

cant remember my 18th {only cos it wasnt memorable} but my 21st was spent driving a 25 ton Saracen armoured car back from the Luxembourg/german border to northern germany (Soltau) and it took 3 blokes to lift me out i was p155ed as a fart so was my crew commander come to that.
