What do we think about this
    http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-25015604

Is he being unfairly discriminated against by Eurostar and BA or are they being reasonable

    - I still dont understand how people -even with an illness can get to that sort of weight where they cant even stand up - maybe we should start providing chaperones to prevent them eating more than 2000 calories per day until they get their weight under control

Who wants to be stuck behind him in an emergency ?

It's up to him to arrange stuff and make them aware he's carrying a bit of timber. The fat lovely person.

Morbidly obese people should be harpooned.

No sympathy. I know people have eating conditions etc. but that's just too fat. If he wants to travel like normal people do he should lose some timber first.

I've thought for a long time that size/weight restrictions should apply on aircraft, especially on charter flights. We are confined to 18/25kg luggage and charged if we go over, so hows that work if a lass of say 8 stone is a couple of kg over and behind her there is a 25 stoner, crazy, and don't get me started on being stuck between two, how can I say, extremely large people for 4 hours on a flight from Teneriffe, very cramped.

They are being reasonable. This man is obese due to his own life choices and other people should not have to suffer due to his selfishness. Would you want to sit next to him on a plane or a train simply because he refuses to stop eating food? Should others be forced into an unsafe situation where there escape is hampered due to his selfishness? No they shouldn't.

Before anyone says 'but its an addiction, it isn't his fault'. So is alcoholism but drunken people are not allowed to fly or board trains so morbidly obese people shouldn't be allowed either.

There should be size limits for the seats as a seat is not designed to take somebody who is so fat so it is a safety hazard straight away and I agree that there should be another way of doing the luggage. It should be you and your luggage's combined weight, not simply the weight of a case.

I honestly don't understand how it is possible! I do no exercise (apart from teaching PE twice a week), and I eat takeaways/pub food a good 3 times a week (we're talking large pizza hut pizza/mixed grill sized portions). I also have my dad's bad habit of not being able to eat my tea without a sweet (dessert) after it. I'm a size 6/8 and I struggle to think how people could comfortably and happily eat more than I do. I even make myself feel sick sometimes when I think about how much I've eaten in a day/week.

I have to give my butler days off sometimes (except for when he has to answer the door to get the takeaway).

If I ate and exercised as much as you do I'd be even fatter than I am!

I'm 12 stone at the moment, I could get to 12.5 stone just by thinking about Pizza Hut.
