Re: Following the best/worst meal thread lets build a list of the best places for a m Mumbai Lounge in Darfield. Eat before 9 and get:- Any starter Any Main Any Rice or Nan Ice Cream Coffee all for a tenner (£9.90 i think). Service very good and friendly. Prefer this to DilRaj and half the price.
Re: Following the best/worst meal thread lets build a list of the best places for a m Apologies for not replying to the original thread question, but have to say that I found the Dil Raj incredibly disappointing at Christmas. The only good thing to come out of it was that the food was soooooooo bland (we had 4 different meals between us) that my kids gave it a try and now like curries. So, in that respect it was a good result, but as far as the adults were concerned I'd give it a 2 out of 10. Not exactly cheap either.
Re: Following the best/worst meal thread lets build a list of the best places for a m Listening to football! But as you asked, the tatie-wagon int car park behind Boots. Grand and brilliant value, beans and cheese is the best and perfect for us veggies. Though the plastic forks are poor quality and sometimes break which could possibly be dangerous and might ruin the experience.
Dil Raj...ridiculously overrated! Royal Spice at Darton miles better and cheaper.. Everyone I have ever taken there or recommended it to have always said it was great and many have recommended it to others who in turn do the same. The reason it doesn't win these awards you see in the Chron is that they don't have to advertise or publicise like Dil Raj seems to (Dickie Bird - lifelong 'member' member..... member of what for ffs??)
