That's the whole point of it To get people to phone up thinking they have a chance of winning money, when infact, it's just gunna cost them a tenner or so to be told they're not gunna get the chance to win a thing! (doh)

Why are these channels allowed on the box anyway? They add nothing, not educational or entertaining and the only purpose of them is to steal the money of gulible saps. Did anyone see the Chavy guy from Rovrum on the local news who run up 8 grand in less than a month phoning up these robbers. Ban them I say.
Fascinated by those channels They use all those sneaky little tricks to get you to call (long segments with no speech to build tension, telephone sounds to panic people by thinking others are calling, cash register noises, fit presenters, easy questions), and build on the idea that no-one is calling, or that everyone is a thicko except you and that all you have to do is pick up the phone... You might as well get in touch with one of those Nigerian lads whose dad has just copped it or summat.
I work plenty of nights so got to put up with it! anyone seen that send up on soccer am? classic - one thing is its worth watching for the birds!
