I wouldn't swap Paul Heckingbottom for any of them. He's the perfect fit for our club as far as I'm concerned.
Hecky has indisputably done more than Stam and Rosler at least, I reckon. Anyway, it's better for us that he stays out of these kind of lists for as long as possible.
As much as I can't stand them, you can't really dispute Chris Wilder being on the list. He's got Oxford, Northampton and the pigs promoted.
Hecky has shown a skill set that 99% haven't got - works well without money. Most managers are entirely dependent on their cheque book, and even with money some are still ****. Hecky deserves to be rated highly but i don't want anyone to come in for him.
I agree, he's **** that Hecky, no other club in the football league should go anywhere near him Sent from my WAS-LX1A using Tapatalk
I'm starting to think there is a total blind spot regarding Barnsley FC when it comes to measuring success and mentioning noteworthy perfomers. How anyone can overlook what Hecky has done in this 24/7, all seeing, all knowing football world is beyond me. But good, let them all fawn over the others and we'll carry on as we were with our excellent manager.
I was referring to who wrote the article, since clearly Hecky's far better than any of the dross there. I totally agree with your point though. We seem to be under the radar and long may it continue.
Quality selection.!! Contains those who have either walked out on their Clubs, been sacked by their previous Clubs and been under scrutiny for alleged tax evasion. Hecky won't make it. All he's done is win promotion from League One after being in bottom place, win the Johnstone Paints Trophy and finish 14 th in the Championship in his maiden season with a much depleted squad on a shoestring budget. He obviously doesn't fit their strict selection criteria.!
