Came top of league 1 first season. These are a few tips and players to buy if you start as Barnsley: Offer Reid and Mcphail new contracts as soon as you start. Also make sure you keep hold of Colgan and Jarman. Jarman improves loads and i sold him to bolton for £1.5 in 2008. Colgan and Reid are good players in the Prem and Europe. Players i signed in first season: Graeme Lee - Free Dudu Cearense - Free Stern John - Free - prolific Mark Crossley - Free Hans Sarpal - 140k (got these players in January) Michael Hughes - Free Nourradene Naybet - 10k I also bought Freddy Guarin to sign in the summer for 900k I sold Nards for £1 million, Hayes for 825k and Tongue (in Jan) for 800k. I used this money to sign the players above and to bring in some quality coaches. These were the players i brought in on loan: Andy Taylor Danny Graham* - Played 31 scored 19, from Boro Chris Brown* - Played 38 and scored 29. Quincy Owusu Abeyie Make sure you get John, Graham and Brown, they score shed loads and you should get promoted. Currently 9th in the premiership (can go 6th if i win game in hand) and in the Uefa Cup 1st Knockout round, against Galatasary. Just finished 4th season.. As Spurs. After finishing 5th three seasons in a row, I finally managed to break into the top 4, finishing 4th. However, because Liverpool finished 6th and won the Champions League, I was again left in the UEFA Cup! Agh! Lost in the UEFA Cup final to Aston Villa, but then beat Chelsea on penalties to win the FA Cup - first trophy. Have been offered and taken the England job too, started with 6-0 and 6-1 wins over Liechtenstein and Estonia. RE: Done the signings you said red_tyke no probs mate Graham and Brown upfront. They'll score loads. Another quality player is Ryan Smith from Arsenal. You might be able to get him on loan. Think i got him when i was in the championship, if you dont get him in league 1 put him on your shortlist.

Cost a lot for me too... But he's been outstanding. Hat-tricks against Arsenal and Chelsea, equaliser in the FA Cup final. Bent's my topscorer though, 31 goals in 32 starts last season.
Just won my last two games, 10 from 9 games now. Just beat Charlton, who were second, 4-1 with 4 goals for Carlton Cole. Scorza was sent off for kicking someone at 2-1!
