Just had a quick look at Keiths record versus Ritchie/Davey/Robins since we got promoted. Keith (18 wins/70 matches) 25.7% Ritchie/Davey/Robins (70 wins/230 matches) 30.4% Including draws Keith (33 wins+draws) 47.1% Ritchie/Davey/Robins (127 wins+draws) 55.2% Over a season that equates to about 8 points Keith (45 points), Ritchie/Davey/Robins (53 points), that's the difference between staying up and going down. That's where we are. For me Keith seems to worry to much about what the opposition are going to do rather than what we do, we seem to be too focused upon defending (we normally have 8 behind the ball), rather than how we are going to score. We seem to have to attack down the congested middle, rather than trying to create gaps by spreading the ball across the pitch quickly. I think this squad could stay up, but unfortunately my faith in Keith being able to do it is dwindling, not sure who I would suggest to replace him though.
This squad is easily capable of mid table but Hill is incapable of using the right formation and tactics to achieve this He either has to change direction altogether, which he won't do, or resign, again he won't If he's not sacked now then relegation is a certainty
The other way could be to sell all of the assets in January, Steele, Davies, Stones, make a profit, and not renew the managers contract in th summer???????? Good business sence or not??????? 6million may come into the maths somwhere???????????
Hill`s contract is not up in the summer, he has a continual 12 months rolling contract which means he ALWAYS has 12 months left on it!
