Come on tell me, what has he actually done for us, tell me the highs. Tell me what I've missed, because surely we would had be relegated last season and this is not looking too great. You ask who can do a better job, I ask who can do a worse job.
I fail to see what he could have done differently in this game. He can't put the ball in the net himself...
Picked his strongest side? Played a formation that offered width and gave us a chance of putting Wednesday on the back foot? Jim OB is our most creative player, why did he not start? Why make a sub one minute in to the second half? If Perkins is fit, start with him. Start with your strongest side and get a lead, don't bring him on when we're chasing the game Hill has got to go
He threw obrien on, he brought on Perkins which changed the game and Wednesday didn't have a kick second half, he threw Harewood on, he couldn't have done anything else IMO - the goal 'conceded' was a ****ing joke, chance after chance created and missed, but it's obviously Hills fault. One thing that comforts me about tonight is that Sheffield Wednesday are so bad they're bound to go down, if we're poor then they are flaming diabolical.
Rubbish. Start with a team sheet and purpose that makes the second half performance occur in the first half. That was a poor, poor Wednesday side and we didn't even attack them or cause them any problems until he made the subs.
Fine lines. We were by far the better team but lost. If you're wanting Hill out because he's not winning fair enough. But don't whine about him when looking at performances we've been pretty good the last two. The players certainly don't look like they don't believe in him. But hey, I'm sure we can find someone else to do better. No one knows who, but he's out there somewhere.
And how many moaned when he made the subs that he'd lost the plot? Perkins on for our creative midfielder they moaned. I thought the starting xi was a positive one, but Buz was poor in particular. If he'd have been dropped on favour of Perkins people would have moaned anyway.
But we only started being the better team once we had our best players on the pitch. Keith Hill chose a line up that offered no width and no attacking threat, which led to us going in 1-0 down.
"Best players" do we have some then, seems to me they are all pretty average just some have more passion than others and give a ****.
People saying he didn't pick the best team, but given the results I'm not sure anyone knows what it might. Fact is we lost because we didn't take chances, not because of team selection.
Still only 8 wins in 2012 so today makes no difference at all to whether Hill should go or not. In my opinion I hope he's on his way at this moment.
