did you bother to watch the players reaction at the final whistle? or were you too busy hurtling out of the ground booing as you went.
They were absolutely gutted, you would have thought they'd lost the cup final.
Missed chances - guilty
lack of effort - not guilty
lack of a will to win - not guilty
don't give a chuff - not guilty

rubbish, none of them give a toss and they are all putting on a front just like the last lot of wasters did when we went down!!!! Utter disgrace those missed chances yesterday!!!!
RE: did you boo???? No i'm not into that sort of stuff, i will talk with my feet if that sort of display of incompetence in front of goal ultimatley costs us promotion!!
RE: Question: No, not at all, i just don't buy all this rubbish that just because the players looked as of they were 'gutted' that they actually meant it. I am still seething from the lasy lot who did that and i could tell straight away that it was a front. Why should they give a toss anyway???
RE: "none of them give a toss" Austin and Kay are the only exceptions because we all know that they are born and bread in Barnsley, but the likes of McPhail and Howard won't give a toss what we do so long as they have a club next season!!!!
Two points: 1) Explain how you could tell it was a front, because you must a top pyscho-analyst or something. 2) You're slagging off for not giving a toss, then you say 'Why should they give a toss anyway???' Make your mind up.
to be honest pal you are not one of the most optomistic posters on here there are too many people like you at Oakwell these days who leap on the teams back at every opportunity.
One last push, go on get behind them, you know it makes sense, apart from a bit of face, you've got now't to lose.

RE: Two points: Because a) he's perfect and has never made a mistake in his life; and b) he takes a perverse delight in rubbishing those who do; ergo c) he's a tw*t
How can you know that Take the job I do - I definitely give a toss - I put in my best efforts - often working long days to do the best I can for the company I work for. I have no built in loyalty - I havent supported said company since I was a lad but I still do my best. Many other working people would say the same. So how can you possibly know that the other players dont give a toss. There is a good team spirit at Barnsley and I am sure many of the players really do care. Including the 2 strikers
I too dont think it matters enough to some of them. Howard, Austin, Kay and Richards seem to me to be the only ones who do have the heart at the club at this moment.
Just because they "look" gutted at the final whistle proves nothing to me.

RE: Two points: My, My, My!!! You really will stick up for the manager and team no matter what will you I am not optimistic in the slightest after the lasy 4 years of total misery and i am not prepared to get myself worked up for something that will inevitably all end in tears, they have no bottle in crunch games, can't score goals and even if they did achieve the impossible then it would be the quick relegation back down again because the majority of the squad can bear;y cut it at this level, never mind the league above. Anyway why am i arguing for, i said months ago that they would bottle it and i was proved right, so you can all go chasing your little fantasies if you like but keep me well out of it!!! Done well this season in this pub league, i'm sorry but i have much higher standards than draws against scum like Chesterfield!!! SO THERE!!!
RE: Two points: You're not getting worked up? Coulda fooled me! I've been watching Tarn over 40 years, and believe me this current side is nowhere near as bad as it can get. The trouble with you young 'uns is that you think we belong at Championship level because until the past few years, that's all you've ever known. Well I'm sorry, but it doesn't work like that. I watched em for over twenty years before getting so much as a SNIFF of Championship level. I've seen em at the bottom of the entire Football League, I've seen em lose to non-league teams in the Cup. And I've always been back for more, and I always will. So even if they get relegated next year, I'll be there - while you're off watching the Fowls or painting yer shed.
RE: Two points: Why are you suggesting that i am a young un?? You don't even know me!!. Anyway wasn't the last few years with the club on the brink of extinction absolute hell for us all, so i think i have seen some very bad times at Oakwell as well!!!
