    He isn't.

He's ten times the player when playing on the right side of the back three. Crainie is going to have to go some to get his place back after today's display.

Cranie walks back into our team.

Got to agree. Cranie in, Wiseman to RWB, because he can play there too. He does excel at RCB though, very useful to have his pace doing the covering.

Wiseman could play all season like that and Cranie would still walk into our team as I can't see us ever playing a system with only one centre back.

Our best defender by a mile and we've missed him big time while he's been out.

With how much Wiseman's improved in 2013 we've got the potential to have a quality defence

I'm willing to bet that with the confidence he has at the moment he'd excel in all three positions. Fast becoming our best player and someone we'll be hard pressed to keep hold of. Premier League managers like pace. Their scouts will be watching him.

Wiseman has improved hugely, but I'd still have him RWB with Cranie RCB, and Nyatanga LCB with BOBBY bossing it in the middle.

    Ar fink.

I'm struggling to decide which I think Wisey's best position is. Looked so assured today at centre-half but his pace can also be useful down the flanks. I think if we got Cranie back in he has to play full/wing-back in Jimbo's place.

It was so much easier this time last season when everyone hated him...

You're right - let's get back to that.

Wiseman's wnak and Rowing gave Exeter a sell on clause, when we couldn't get one for the best young full back in England with 4 years on his contract.

Surely Wiseman AND Cranie could play if we use 3 centre backs?!

I like him playing in back three because his pace often gets us out of trouble. I'm also glad we're playing actual wingers in the wing back positions now so I'd rather we kept him where he is even when Cranie returns. Cranie could play in place of M'Voto at the centre of the three.

If we're playing four at the back he's undoubtedly our best RB though.

Wiseman had a reyt game today.

2/3 times today he single handedly stopped them getting into very good goal scoring opportunities.
