odejayi in the past I hope you are eating some humble pie this morning because he was immense yesterday!
agreed mate. bloke next to me was shouting "get him off and get nardiello on" after just 5 mins i swear. unbelievable
he was sensational and thats a understament, totally bossed terry and carvalho, theres not many that havent given him stick me included. If he plays like that every week he wont be here for long brilliant!

just to add i've never boo'd him or any other player, and i never would.

"unbelievable" very sadly mate, what you have just told me is quite believable. A lot of morons purport to be fans of our club.
happy birthday mate - i lost me phone in the ponty! will ring you in a bit - can you pm me your number? ta
Why does everyone seem to think one good game makes him brilliant he still has a crap scoring record and apart from the goal never looked threatening. Before anyone has a go i have never booed a barnsley player in my life and don't think i ever will. Although i will say that yesterday was his best game in a barnsley shirt i still thiink that the lad is crap and is given too many chances to 'prove' himself, i think that in the end he will be remembered alot like Rankin a crap player that scored a vital goal and therefore will be remembered as being better than he is.
Yep, ar "Colin" has secured himself as an Oakwell leg-end.
I knew the lad would come good one day.

hang on a second I'm not saying he is a world class player or has been awesome this season but how can you justify the abuse this lad has taken, he obviousley has the ability in him and is a confidence player suited to a certain style of football yet he'll still get slated for the majority of the season!
Why do you assume that just because i don't rate a player i am someone who boos their own team? I have never booed a player not even an away player for me it is the height id bad manners and is disrespectful cause even if i think they are crap they are still a damm sight better than me. Why on this site do people get personal when someone doesn't agree with their point of view??
He got a couple of (IMHO harsh) decisions against him in the first few minutes and it didn't look like the ref was going to give him anything so it didn't look like being his day. But he stuck at it, redoubled his efforts and had a great first half. I don't think that makes him beyond criticism but he played very well yesterday and fully deserved both his goal and MOTM. As Turvey said to me yesterday, nobody at Barnsley wants to see him or any other Barnsley player fail. But I've got to say he has been frustrating to watch a lot of the time. I likened it to when Fallon kept coming on as sub and having chances late on but never putting them away - how many times can you say "Maybe this will be his week"? Let's hope this gives him the springboard to success in a Reds shirt and many more games and goals like yesterday's.
