Just looked at the photos - I like the way Oddjob has made himself as small as possible when going up for that cross - he's bent double! Still, I'll cheer him on if he's in a red shirt ... one day he may come good ... here's hoping!
I like to think that we can try and boost the confidence of those players who so surely lack it, but then that's me. I must live in a different world because I am not naive, but I do still think - at times - in my best moments - honestly - that Odejayi might, - just might come on and make a difference. This is the season when I finally decide one way or 't'other. I admit I am a bit behind.
I'm with you I'd love him to come good ... maybe it's the mothering instinct, but I hate to see someone getting picked on.... and I don't think he's as bad as he actually manages to make himself to look sometimes. The typical confidence player. I do think it's a league too high for him, but who knows - I think he can cause problems. Fingers crossed.
And it just keeps getting better....Narnia I tell ya... From reports of the game "It may be a friendly but Simon Davey is taking it seriously and very animated on the touchline."
Fired ,to be fair hes an honest lad trains hard gives 1oo% ,does not drink unlike the overweight pisshead marc richards who was idolised by a lot of fans.i would love the lad to come good ,but like a lot of the fans on the terraces are waiting for him to drop a bollock it doesnt instill him with loads of confidence.Maybe its do or die this season and he knows it ,just give him a chance andy liddell werent brill but he didnt get slaughtered like odd job.misfud were ***** n he didnt get slaughtered either
RE: I'm with you
At the end of the day he is not a striker and never will be, but I do think he could make a good target man. But we don’t have the staff skilled enough to change him, likewise as Rory Fallen.
