Dont mean much, a manager could win 15 games and draw the rest and end up with 76 points but his win percentage would only be 33%

Comparable number of games managing Barnsley? No thought not.

Do you have an average points per game break down to give us a fairer reflection?

Don't jinx it. Isn't it time for our end-of-season slump?

So he is actually not as good as you said!
Below Gudjon and Ritchie and not much better than Robins.

Now then go away and just check the first season up to end of January or same amount ogf games played.

BTW the majority of fans are convinced by Hill. Only a minority are convinced by his PR skills though.

how good did i say Hill was exactly??

I don't recall giving any opinion whatsoever. Just offering some facts/figures.

Oh and there's no need to be rude.

in terms of an average taken from over 10 games a difference of over 0.05 can be deemed significant in my eyes. obviously if I was that way inclined I could do a stats test and determine which is the best, but it looks that way to me

I'm a maths student I'm allowed to be boring!!

How many of those managers had the budget that Keith has though? And how many Leicester's, West Ham's and Soton's throwing daft money about?
And, did any of them wear a barbour, or great spectacles?
    Pertinent questions

Managing Barnsley in League one is a lot easier than managing us in the Championship. In League One we were a top half team aiming for promotion, so far in the Championship we have been a lower-mid to bottom half team trying to avoid relegation.

A clearer statistic would be to remove all the League One data. Which eliminates Hodges, Thordarson and Hart. Parkin and Ritchie's data should not include their League One results.

It would be interesting to see how many points each manager won per pound they spent on transfers/loans, but with all these undisclosed fees that's not possible.

A difference of a twentieth of a point is not statistically significant over a sample size of 10 games. Especially when there are factors such as injuries/teams played etc. which would massively skew the results.

Considering thordarson managed us whilst in admin with barely a full team he did much better than you give him credit for.
