"I'm not having it that Andy Richie didn't want to sign players, I was talking to him in the summer and he had lots of players he wanted to sign including Dele Adebola, but was told by the club that they couldn't afford them"

 

Maybe he should have targeted

Raul to make it more impossible.</p>

Be intersting to see what Ritchie says when he issues his statement through the PFA won't it?

Been supporting the Reds for 40 years and can't ever remember feeling so disappointed that we're being treated as fools - there's some spin going on imo!

that he's wrong? Might there be some truth in what he says? Could it be that Ritchie did want to sign players? We missed outy on a few before the season and now we're hearing another name - mmmmmmm, I wonder?

 

I think when we hear Richie's response we'll be even more pissed off.

No matter if people tell the truth in what they say, its what they do not say that is often the crux.</p>

Some people on here are simple enough to believe they will be told the whole truth by the person whos opinion suits there own view.</p>

No but I can make my opinion based on what's happened in last few days.
Shepherd went to the media criticising Richie.
Shepherd wouldn't allow Richie to talk to Weds then sacked him a couple of weeks later.
Shepherd promised Richie a new contract then said it wasn't a priority.
Shepherd said money wasn't a problem then sold our best player
