For anyone who went tonight

How impressive was there number 8, was a class above the rest. Didn't deserve to be on the losing team.

 

Thought Stevenage were the better side tbh. Reds were 3-0 up and had only crossed the half way line 3 times. If Stevenage had anything like a decent keeper or back four they would have won easy...

 

Something else, Rohdell Gordon. Would well be worth inviting for a trial if he's done at school etc. Their number 16 Dujon was also very impressive when he came on down the right wing. They battered us 2nd half.

 

Agree there mate would be great if we did. They had a few impressive players but he stood out the most, very good player. They came out all guns blazing 2nd half!

 

Think Abbott, Oates and smith looked ok.

Also you have to remember so many of the barnsley 11 were first years.
The 2 centre back and the left back. Goalkeeper. McKnights a first year although he's 17. Left manger Imari first year. And Ii might have missed one. They looked a big side full of second years.

 

We did look a bit young, one of theirs had a right man beard. I think he's Greek.

McKnight would be a good back up for Jim O'Brien. Though he'd have to learn to speak Scottish and play the guitar.

 

Number 10 I think he was.

 

I thought the defence looked good if like you say they were 1st years, some silly passes but they will learn with age. Can't believe how old there striker looked! A proper man beard.

 

That was him, Pitharas. He was their Captain. Because he's got a proper beard.

 

only the right back was a second year.
