http://barnsleyfc.org.uk/showthread.php?254362-This-is-what-happens-ladies-and-gents I will wager that these clubs who many many will consider big and much bigger than Barnsley., would trade places instantly trade with us. they are all below us... and to be honest there are 3 or 4 above us who envy us too Birmingham Cardiff QPR Villa Forest Wolves Blackburn Wigan all of the above have had obscene backing at some point, and almost all of the above have attracted "big time Charlies" to invest and totally failed. The small time club of Barnsley blows them all away
We have done brilliantly this season but will always wonder how much more we could have done without losing five good players over the course of the season had we still had Mawson, Morsy, Winnall, Hourihane and Bree. We play has a team whilst other clubs have bigger name players but aren't doing well because they are more individuals than a team. The players won't be thinking oh well we did alright as this club is in form or high up in the league or has more money or has internationals or has recent premiership history etc. They will still be dissapointed as professionals when we don't win.
