    ... I already had these channels as part of my XL package although admitedly not the HD versions. I have not got an HD TV so not really much use to me though.</p>

    Nat Geographic is only one that would benefit from HD anyway, Family Guy in HD is still sh*t !!!:D </p>

    a Virgin salesman called at my neighbours this evening

    he didn't get a reply, so i asked him if he had a moment to spare. We had a chat about the extra cost for the V+ HD box, he told me that my tv, HD ready 38", would show a small improvement, but not worth the extra cost. shant pay for it then :)
