You know my views, T, but there's one scenario that might justify your hopes for this new state of affairs. It's at least possible that yesterday's vote might see the total unravelling of the EU. If that happened then we'd at least be no worse off vis a vis the other EU countries. One would imagine that some sort of free trade area might then be negotiated along the original lines of the common market vision. Even if that did happen it could take some time to work through. There might be some early rumblings arising from the Spanish General Election on Sunday though?
