It was when Howard and Ricketts took the cocked up corner when all the Ponty booed. It was in the last two mins.

 

Rightly so as it was a right balls up.

 

We never learn. remeber the ****-up doing the same thing at Sheff United in 2000; 3-2 up and we piss about in the corner. Ball finishes up at the other end and United equalise. Probably cost us the automatic promotion place.

 

so if they didn't try and keep it in the corner, and put a cross in, and the ball ended up down the pitch like it did, what would people have saying?? "keep it in the corner". No matter what we do the players just cant do owt right we some people

Howeverthe pitiful way in which the ball was given away is what annoyed the fans AT THE TIME.</p>
