100% agree, spoke to Steve Foster after the game and he was gutted with the whole teams performance and did not even want the man of the match champagne, he said nobody deserved it.

Unless that improves then what??? People scoff at 2 million price tag on that Leeds striker Beckford. We paid over 1 million for Hume and regardless of all the sh*t surrounding that day v Sheff U, Beckford is about 15 goals a season in the Championship better - Hume is a scorer of good goals, not a good goal scorer Beckford is both.

 

Its earley yet in the season... for gods sake give it a rest. how many of you will be giving negative posts after about lets say 10 games when we are about mid table. will it be Davey out and KO's a w@nker some of you lot are very febble. give the lads a chance get behind them its a new season people have to gel and make things work. It costs hard earned money to watch football i know, and it's very dissapointing on the day to go home and have no points in the bag....BUT its your beloved team. So a bit of patiance in this new season wouldn't go a miss or it could come back to BITE some of you.....Oh and don't say it's been like it for the last TWO YEARS thats no excuse not to be positive this season ............UP the REDS

 

What you saying ? a new brush sweeps clean? That could be true ..but we have what we have and its about time that people on here realise it and stop slagging SD and players off ..its not a very good confidence builder if they read some of the negative posts on here is it?

 

It's early days yet. I don't think any teams will be performing to their full potential 2 games into the new season. Don't get me wrong I am as brassed off with that totally inadequate performance as anyone here, but it's too early to be rushing to doom and gloom and Davey out

 

It may be early days in the season but it is not early days under Mr Davey.
Nothing about his time in charge gives me any reason to think that yesterday was just a blip.
Performances like that were the norm last season and will continue to be this season IMHO.

 

As fans on this forum we all have one aim which is to support the team and hopefully enjoy a reasonable standard of football from the players whilst keeping our championship status at the end of the season. We all would like to be aiming for the Play Offs but realistically accept that a middle of the table finish would be considered a success after the last few seasons.
The problem I have is that after 3 seasons with Mr Davey at the helm we have shown no improvement and once again it looks like this season is going to be an uphill struggle. I don't deny that Davey HAS signed some very good players but the one area the team has constantly struggled with is an ability to score goals and this area once again is going to be a massive problem this season unless we purchase some quality strikers. The currunt bunch we have WILL NOT score the necessary goals we require to avoid another relegation scrap.
Will Andy Gray be the answer? I personally don't think so but we desperately need a change in personnal up front to give us any hope!
