all i can say is;

Mcloud, Foster, Johnson, luckettie, contantine and foster players wanted by AR but we did not sign!!!

Is it more likely that he did not want to sign any old tripe been offered to him by our board!!!

Finally on todays team selection Davey picked the team and i would rather have nicky wore or tonge in instead of williams in center mid we had other options but firstly chose the worng one and secondly failed to change it when it when worng so how anyone can blame AR is beyond me!!!

I would say they are no better than what we have got

but they do add some competition which is good, imho if we had a fit starting 11 we would not have lost today!!!

Simply put it is easy to sign players offerd to you by clubs (wallwork & knight not wanted, reid young kid experience etc) but harder to go and tempted players and clubs!!!

I don't know anyone at the club so this is just my take on things, so no it isn't a fact i share with a inner circle of people at oakwell!!

it was a number of things that led to Andy's sacking...

like Mr Shepherd organising Kazim Richards to come to BFC. Everyone was talked to on both sides, all agreed and the deal was done. Then at the last minute Andy changed his mind and pulled the pin on the deal. Made the chairman look bad and wasted his time. This wasn't the only reason.... but your career prospects aren't enhanced when you stuff your boss around.

If you want proof research the net for statements which we have posted on our website saying the players turned down our contracts and have gone elsewhere you have to ask why?

I'm not blaming GS or shouting for his head as he is sticking to his budget and doing the best for BFC in the long run, simply put we do not have the funds to finance signings from championship clubs, quality is avaliable in lower leagues we just have to get it!!

however at the time who can honestly say they wanted to sign KZR? Everyone was experience experience experience, he now turns out to be bit of a gem at sheff u and look at the up roar from the same "fans"

what led to his downfall was his failure to compremise and maybe sign players who would have added strength in depth!

 

Or like AR organising for Shuker to resign and then GS

turning it down. Mind GS did organise an even better replacement in McIndoe!

I agree with what you are saying. AR wanted Foster, Ward and Shuker,

GS couldn't or wouldn't get them. IMHO those 3 would have made a huge difference to our season.

Runs like that tend to get managers sacked. Especially when it becomes apparent you have no plan on how to turn it around.</p>
