Did you mean one fallacious argument after another. Possible unexplained phenomena in the heavens? Must be the work of our pending doom. Bridges corroding? Must be our pending doom. Obviously. The US have installed a telesope that WOULD be ideal for looking at a sun? Must be true then. The ancients have predicted this thing would orbit and hit us again? Must be true (even if they did think the world was flat back then). In fact, the old testament is full of reliable accounts, only this very afternoon, I was discussing this with a talking snake in my back garden.

Even if these videos are to be believed, no worries for us because they just kept mentioning America. It seems this will be the only land that will be affected. Presumably because this is the only land that matters.

why are governments backing these projects if something like that will never happen.

 

same reason that people can get hundreds of thousands of pounds

to test whether drunk people are more likely to take risks that they wouldn't normally take or to discover that a knife is a better cutting implement than a spoon.
simply put, because we love wasting money.

i enjoyed watching the vids etc.. And within 6-10 months should be able to totally prove or disprove the theory as it will be visible to the naked eye to most of the world.

Imagine what would happen however, if we suddenly had 2 suns! See them cover that one up lol Might watch that 2010 film - never seen it.
