Ipswich boss Jim Magilton: "The result was far more important than the performance. We set very high standards at this club and we know we've fallen a bit short. "Up until the goal, they were probably the better side. They came and produced really good football. "Barnsley manager Simon Davey should take an awful lot of credit for the way his team played."
I agree with Jay's line of thought. Chris Coleman said not many teams would come to Oakwell and get anything. I bet Blackpool's manager said we were a smashing little club who passed his team off the park. It's bullsh1t. Is it five games without a goal now? Blackpool, Cardiff, Southampton, Norwich, Ipswich? Did Magilton praise our clinical finishing too?
To be fair, we were the best team and played well until they scored. Then we just simply seemed to stop trying.
Good football no goals and no points..............no thanks Davey comments ... that was never a 3-0...........well actually it was and thats all the record books and league table shows. It says something when Wright is man of the match........The goalie played well and kept a clean sheet.....i.e. he did his job...
I reckon he copied Paul Jewells comments from the Derby Home game... end of the day Simon Goals win games we cant buy one!!!
Getting sick of hearing these comments from the opponents. End of day we got zero points. Yet again we failed to score. BUT WE DID PLAY A 15 YEAR OLD
