<font size="2">The Sheffield City Council website has stated that on Wednesday 3 May, the city will be hosting a civic reception to celebrate Sheffield United's promotion to the Premiership. The players will be arriving on a open top bus from Bramall Lane at around 5.45pm and then make an appearance on the Town Hall balcony. The event should finish by no later than 7.00pm.

The Police are expecting a crowd of up to 25,000 people and will be enforcing a series of rolling road closures along the route from Bramall Lane as well as in areas where crowds are expected.

considering how much of Sheffield is being dug up at the minute, I can't see that those road closures are far away from the norm anyway.
