    ... friend of mine in Huddersfield informs me that the Cherry Tree (Weatherspoons) has been allocated as away fans only on Saturday. Not far from the station, on John William St. Come out of the station, across the courtyard/ square... John William St is the first main road you come to. Not sure what time it opens mind you, but being a Weatherspoons it's probably open early.

    Not sure how this ties up with the possibilities of being rounded up like cattle and frog marched to the ground, but it's what he said.

    That's where those marched off the train will be taken and then given a police escort to the ground i'd imagine. I've seen the same happen with Wednesday fans there before. Personally I don't bother drinking there. It's rough at the best of times but should be more kid friendly than usual if only our fans are in there. Although it could be worse try going in the Wellington across from Byram Arcade (about 200 yards from Cherry Tree) with your away shirt showing.
