Very good interview. Talks about how the main aim of pre-season is not to get injured, and that you will naturally get fit.</p>

Pre-season games are &quot;a pain&quot; at this level as you're generally playing against teams in lower divisions who raise their games and you are at risk of injury.</p>

Trip to Portugal will be a great chance to bond with the lads.</p>

Davey sold the club to him by being straight-talking and honest.</p>

Has &quot;one more promotion&quot; left in him and he'd love it to be with Barnsley - feels that if you get the home form right in this league, then anything can happen.</p>

Talked very very sensibly, I do get the impression, despite the comments of the Leicester fans, that he could be a good signing.</p>

Talks well - articulate, positive, obviously a clear thinker. I think Mr Davey might be looking over his shoulder a bit if Andy Johnson does well at Oakwell. I think he will be a very good addition to the midfied and, in time, could be seen as a coach or manager, if not at Oakwell then somewhere else.
He can't wait for the season to start - me neither!!
