If Macken was the only player that would read that statement today about it being the players at fault not "the management" then yes. It was so obviously written by Davey, it the kind of "please please save my job don't blame me blame the players" kind of way!!

On Radio De Da the other night they said that when they had spoken to the players off record they said they were behind Davey and he had not lost the dressing room.
