For those who didn't manage to make it today:

Steele - Did what he could. Made a particularly outstanding save first half
Wiseman - Well..erm... err... words fail me.
Ramage - Decent actually, think him and Cranie are a decent pairing
Cranie - He's definitely Championship quality. Wouldn't be surprised if other clubs came sniffing. Equally wouldn't be surprised if he starts getting fed up with season after season of relegation dogfights.
Kennedy - Defended him in the past, but he's league one. So frustrating watching him pump it up the left every time he gets it.
Dawson - Was better in the second half. Wasn't afraid to get stuck in in fairness. But you just feel he is 'average'. Don't think he is good enough for this league, not his fault.
Etuhu - Played out of position in fairness. But was poor and rightly subbed.
McCourt - Frustrating today. Saw him closing down a few times though. Had 2/3 of their players round him as soon as he got the ball.
O'Brien - Feel for him. Gave 110% yet again. I think a few need to get off his back.
Mellis - I thought he had a decent game. Had a right go at Wiseman in the first half, showed passion at least. Needs support from others around him to see how good he is.
O'Grady - Not his best game today. In fact, for me, he was poor. Probably lacking match fitness and service, but he even got the basics wrong today.
Pedersen - No coincidence that we were more threatening when he was up alongside O'Grady. They have to start together again Birmingham. I think he's got a bit of quality that we need. Others may disagree, but I think he will come good.
Cywka - Scored a brilliant goal. Ran at players and showed no fear. Between him and Cranie for my MOM.
    Scotland - Can't really comment.

Started slow and conceded a sloppy goal. I think heads dropped then. You did fear every time Derby came forward. They did their homework and soon realised they'd have some success with our fullbacks.
Second half started as the first ended really. They went 2-0 up and you felt it could have been 4 or 5 then. A bit of magic from Cwyka gave everyone a lift and we had a strong period for around 20/25 minutes. We just lacked that 'quality' though.
Wiseman, Kennedy, Dawson, Perkins, Scotland and possibly Etuhu could all go for me in January.

Steeles distribution and kicking was absolutely woeful btw.

Sort of just grown to accept this now, though. It will never change so I don't tend to see it as a negative anymore.

Lol! Fair one! You'd have thought he'd have practiced his kicking a bit given all that time off though :)

Agree with all of that, however

I really feel that to get the best from Mellis we have top play him in central midfield in an advanced position behind the strikers.

    Reasonable summary

I would only disagree about O'Grady, he's obviously not fully fit but still put in a decent shift.

Pretty much my thought too. I'd keep Etuhu mind, and play him centrally.

Thing is if he hadn't played, we'd have Dibble in the nets. Tbh he hasn't impressed when I've seen him play.

Fair one, my first comment was meant tongue in cheek about Steele practicing his kicking as it is and always will be average at best. People like this toffeeroll chap take things far too literally far too often on this board it seems and try to berate light hearted posts like mine and others at times.
