If the Aussies fall short of the follow on target whats Strauss's plans do you think. If they do follow on its quite likely Aussie will make a better fist of it second time around and maybe nudge ahead. Dont like the scenario of them been 150-180 runs ahead and England chasing that score with the ball seaming all over the place. Bat Aussie out of the game is my call,a quick 250 and leave ourselfs enough time to bowl them out with the only two results left been a draw or an England win. Aussie will fight like tigers and it may not be so straight forward if they follow on.
Good discussion about it on Sky at the moment Follow on if the bowlers are fit. Batting on looks negative and sends out the wrong signal to the opposition.
They will do better next time around BUT we need to bowl them out twice to win the game so we may aswel start having a go again today. Lets be honest, it's doubtful we'll get a better chance to win a game in the series than this ! I also think it's doubtful we'll get 3 full days play so even England would find it hard to lose from here !!!!
Aussie commentators are sure they'll enforce follow on. Quite funny to hear them complaining about the dodgy decisions and lucky wickets.
Just been looking for names and they have a decent team for coverage........ http://www.bhatt.id.au/blog/sbs-tv-coverage-of-the-ashes-cricket-series-australia-vs-england/
RE: Need to get a wicket very sharpish if its even going to be a question. nt knew we would get 1 soon as i posted that
Broad's bowling like a lemon without any thought as what he's doing, get the ball on the money and the tail enders on the front foot driving,he's not quick or good enough to bowl the short stuff.
