Have you noticed that most clubs who have got foreign owners are not Happy Clubs. Chelsea not happy at present The Russian trying their patience. Blackburn are a catastrophe, Notts Forest sack two managers on spot and time will show that Mcleish will not be long, Portsmouth fleeced then dumped, Man City money awash but nobody likes that sort of club, Liverpool fleeced by two Yanks and John Henry in, jury out, Leeds time will tell, Man U Mortgaged up to hilt with business deals and club as collateral in USA. Watford nursery for foreign club, Aston Villa no money to help, manager out shortly, Birmingham owner under investigation no money available near Administration. There are many more but not got time. They come to make a quick buck and fans are not on agenda. We will be next if not careful
All the clubs you mention have had huge success and apart from Villa have won titles or cup competitions in recent times. Chelsea, Man U, Man City - all won the title in last few years and all in Champions League, Man u & Chelsea have won it. We went into admin with a Barnsley born owner and almost did the same again a year later. We then employed Ridsdale (need I say more). I think I'd settle for the lot of Man City, Chelsea and Man U fans.
I was not on about the football of the top 3. Chelsea are up in arms with Benitaz, and their prodigal son Bobby Hassell, or is it Frank Lampard, Some Man Utd fans still wearing green and yellow scarfs. Aston Villa up in arms with Lerner, Birmingham near admin with Owner. Portsmouth having a whip round to buy ground back, Liverpool not mentioned by you but are still in recovery. At least we knew our owner was in Barnsley when he went under. I will concede Ridsdale, cannot cater for him as there are always the bad apple somewhere
