To speak to Nigel Clough about being their new manager (from Sky Sports). I don't know how accurate or reliable Sky Sports' sources are in this rumour. http://www.skysports.com/football/n...st-make-approach-for-nigel-clough-sky-sources I thought I'd mention this as there's been rumours linking Hecky to the post.
http://www.skysports.com/football/n...-rules-out-becoming-nottingham-forest-manager There's another couple of articles as well but they all say roughly the same thing
Re: Poor Cloughie!! If he goes, he will probably find himself there until a new owner is found (actually, that could be longer than I first thought) and then will be fired, so that the new Chinese owner can bring in his own 'really big name' manager. Cloughie would then hope he could slink back to the Brewers, or, maybe, Shepshed Charterhouse. I can't imagine who would want to go to Forest in their present plight. on a real loser there at the moment.
Re: Y'Know what fella thats seems very very feasible Even allowing for the fact that Cloughie played there for many years and the obvious connection with his family, it still seems a daft move to me. Burton appear to be a well run club, Forest are in an utter mess.
