staying in the championship will be worth £2m+ for forest.

My housemates a Leicester fan and says if you give Fryatt 10 one on ones, he might score one if you're lucky.

Fryatt better than Earnshaw - Your having a laugh.

Thats how much it costs for a proven Championship striker. Think we'll be looking abroad again - no way we can compete with that level of spending.

As for saying Fryatt is a better all round player - look at the goal scoring records. Earnshaw is a player that could get average side out of this division - so is he worth 2.65m - hell yes, worth every penny.

What ever happened to Richard Chaplow? Still at Brom? I'd like to see him down the 'Well.

Earnshaw wont flop in this division, IF Forest get promoted they may aswell sell him straight away because he cant do it in the premier

Your right, everyone as a right to their opinion. I was just pointing out that Earnshaw has never failed in this division, and can turn the most ordinary sides into promotion candidates.

Fryatt's a decent player, but has not lived up to his early career hype. Doesnt score enough goals and is very lightweight.

Fryatt may add more to the team in work rate etc..... but we have players like that already. We couldnt afford Earnshaw or players in his calibre, hence the reason we will look at a Fryatt to try and bridge the gap.

According to Jewell he got rid because

Earnshaw usually 'didn't bother to put a shift in'.

my and my brother agreed that for 2.65mil earnshaw is a bargin, watched him a lot when he was at norwich and if he isn't getting any chances he'll simply take the ball of his team mate and create one for himslef and you can almost gaurentee if he's through on goal he will score

RE: explain to me why Odejayi is a ******

apologies to odejayi for calling him a ******. its just, only weeks ago, he was through one on one with the goalie at wembley, the history of barnsley football club in his hands / feet, the gaping goal to the keepers right beckons, and aims for the tiny gap at the near post and doesnt even force the goalie to make a save.

what ifs i know, but had he scored, we may have gone on to win and appeared in an fa cup final.

maybe i should have just called him '****'. i do apologise.

Yes, and only a few weeks more ago that he scored the goal to put us in the semi. Give the lad a break. Time to move on. You could say that we might have won it but had we won it we also might have got relegated. Thanks to KO and his goals at Watford we went on a run good enough to stay up.

I wish we had Earnshaw. Guaranteed 15+ goals at this level. His record speaks for itself. Fryatt just doesn't excite me that much.
