Anybody remember the swiskit, I'm sure the tv advert went something like I'll risk it for a swiskit

I had a Texan bar about a year or so ago - they were in the special offers section in the local Spar shop apparently, 3 for £1 or something like that. And yes, they were still in date lol.

Nor me! Not seen them since either, must have been some kind of nostalgia/promotion event imo. The guy who bought them buys loads from a website for retro sweets, can't remember the name of it though - a real blast from the past some of them.

We had a lad on our estate who's dad worked for a sweet company creating sweets. I remember he brought some home that they were working on called Splicers. It was chewy fruit flavoured bar. Wrapper was light blue, the bar was striped like a rainbow with each colour a different flavour. I think it was finally released as a Striper. Very nice.

The original pacers were plain white. Mint flavour chews, same shape as opal fruits.

And amazingly, they used to stick em on copies of the Dandy, AND Beano (bizarre)..
They were nice, but had little bits in em that looked like gravel
