    Chasing pack closing in on the top 2, could be a very close promotion race this year. Gap opened at the top, top 7 pulling away with games in hand.

    So much depends on the January transfer window. Oxford are slipping and could lose up key on-loan players.

    I posted a reference to the 'fishy' form table yesterday it gave the form for 10 games and had us at 5th and over the last 6 at 2nd as your post shows. For me this shows we are improving steadily, and yet we still have many fans complaining. I am at a loss with them.

    We lost at few at the start at home but have improved since then - only lost to Derby in the league since the home defeat to Blackpool. Heading in the right direction - transfer window is crucial especially the defensive side. Need a Thomas type defender

    Just read that we’ve scored the second most goals in the calendar year in the top four divisions. Only Ipswich ahead of us.

    We've also stopped f'erkin about at the back as much and are getting the ball forward quicker over the last half dozen games
