I have no issue with your team.

But lump ball is even worse than square passing in terms of aesthetics and effect.

There is a happy medium, in the land of make believe (come on now - sing along).

It was sort of a wind up was the 'lump it up top' just to see reaction. But I would pick that team if we were to play 442 but then no Hourihane so some would moan if that was picked. But if we are to give summat else a go surely crewe are the team to try it out on.

I reckon i would go with that and if we havnt scored in the first 20, replace Smith (the tall one) with hourihane

The usual 9-0-1 can switch to a similar 10-0-0, so yes he does.

Why can't we play the same style we played against Everton ffs:mad:?

    4-3-2-1

GK: Davies RB:Wabara CB: Roberts CB:Mawson LB: Smith RCM: Scowen LCM: Pearson CAM: Hourihane RF: Watkins LF:Harris ST: Winnall

Basically give more support to Winnall but keep trying to implement this style of attractive football. No need in reverting to ugly tactics.

Exactly what I would pick, but I would also have no problem if hourihane played in place of Pearson.
