Is it right and proper for Michael Schumacher to deliberately allow Vettel past him in order to influence the world championship? They are at different teams so I personally think it is disgusting for a driver to deliberately allow another to pass him while supposedly fighting for track position when the reason for that move is clearly to help out a friend.

I didn't realise overtaking was even allowed in F1.

Superbikes and MotoGP... now that's exciting motorsport.

It didnt really make any difference Vettell was significantly faster than Schumaker and would have passed him anyway - and even if he hadnt he would still have been world champion

Is it right - of course not
but its impossible to prove anything and even if you could prove something what can you do Schumaker is retiring and I doubt that Mercedes had anything to do with it so you can hardly punish them next season - Red Bull wouldnt have had any influence either.

Sorry but you lost me at F1 ethics, which didn't compute. Schumacher should sacked though, write to the Daily Mail editor first thing next season, Super.

You're obviously correct that he would most likely have passed him anyway and that it would be impossible to prove that it was deliberate but I was just wondering if it is actually against the rules or not.

Thankfully the biggest cheat in F1 has now retired so we will no longer have to have races affected by him deliberately stopping, blocking, running into or allowing past other cars.

On another note, Vettell passing under yellow flags? Naughty boy but they seem to have allowed it.
