    Had them for my dinner today.....absolutely fantastic. As much as I like Indian ,Italien ,Chinese and French food ,you can't beat Cod and Chips from the Magpie Cafe in Whitby.had a great day there yesterday but five quid to get into the Abbey....no thanks

    better from the whitby chippies...

    fish and chips should never be eaten indoors.

    ..and the Abbey is a great place to visit and chill out. well worth a fiver. especially when you compare it to paying seven quid to go into nostell priory

    We went on Tuesday

    with college. Had a reyt laugh.
    We had chips from Magpie's, got it fro the takeaway bit instead of the restaurant. Best fish and chips I've had.

    Oh and our little gang went into that Dracula experience thing, and when a guy in a scream mask jumped out to scare us, one of our mates smacked him :D the guy in the mask grabbed hold of him and threatened to 'bang' him. We were all too busy laughing to step in.
    It's fair to say after that day, Whitby will dread any trips from Barnsley.
