He must be a saddo.

You don't walk out on your wife after one row do you?

Honestly, I can't see anything other than Death or serious disability ever keeping me away from watching the Reds.

It would be like having my knob chopped off.

I watched the reds in the bad old days when 3000 of us use to turn up come rain or shine.

By my reckoning 6000 of you lot are just band wagon glory seekers.

I think they may lose some ST sales for next season over it. Thinking about it myself. I only buy a ST because you get priority on tickets, or should. If you don't then why bother? What else do you get? The ground is never full and you could always get a similar seat every week if you really wanted.

    Bloody hell I actually agree

It was a rather lonely place at times , Oakwell. Early 70`s shabby.
Everyone hated Jim Iley but he managed to get a bit of money into the club

    He's still stinging.....

...and with the club only willing to listen to the supporters trust,a little organisation whose leadershipmanaged to change the result of a vote (by it's own membership only of course) on whetherWE want to try a smoking area at Oakwell from an overwhelming NO to abaffling YES somewhere between the meeting and the club (regardless of the fact that it was legally impossible)....who can blame him?

When it seems the only way to be heard is to convert and pay to an exclusive little organisation that may or may not deliver your concerns intact. When simple questions, especially those about how to join, are answered but awkwardones routinely ignoredhow can anyonebe suretheir voice is being handled by a fair and competent agent?

He'll be back when he's calmed down. And maybe one day the club will step out of the comfort zone and start listening to the vast majority offans who are currently residing in the real world.

Lets do something about it then

Simple fact- the club did not purposely do this because they wanted to alienate their fans. They made a mistake, Don Rowing admitted as much last night on the radio.

What they need is a educating, throwing ideas of how to make things better. The most obvious avenue is the trust, they at least have the club's ear and they do take this stuff on board.

Throwing the teddy out of the cot isn't the best idea. In fact its ridiculous what that blokes done. I'm sure he's not serious, but just in case he was, I hope to god they get to the playoffs and he (being a new fan, no ST) can't get a ticket. What happens then, head downto Forest like a shot?

    Jesus wept

there were problems with the ticketting arrangements at the last play offs too

that was 2 years ago. why are there problems AGAIN two years later? I feel very sorry for Gordon Shepherd who has been let down by his senior staff yet again.

    What problems were those?

Semi Final v Huddersfield away (sold all 4,000) & this was 1 to each ST holder, as I had to take BOTH ST books rather than just the one.

Final v Swansea (sold 22,000 - plenty left)

If it had been 1 per ticket I am sure that I wouldn't have got a ticket!

It was categories as well , as I was a season ticket holder and I had no chance of getting a ticket.

    Eaststander got me a ticket.
