still shipping goals. If Flitcroft is still picking and protecting Wiseman in 3 games time and things havent improved in terms of goals conceded Im sorry but for me he has to go.

    Simple as that.

Who's got to go? Wiseman or Flicker?

    Flitcroft has his favourites

clearly and he's allowing it to cloud his judgement. Wiseman has consistently made individual mistakes and never once been dropped by Flitcroft whilst others have been shipped out or dropped. He either drops him and lets see what difference it makes or if it doesnt change its a 'blind spot' and it'll be no excuses.

I don't mind Wiseman but I simply don't understand why he can't ever seem to judge the bounce of a ball. If the ball is above knee-height, he never seems to know what to do.

Really? I can only comment on the home games but in those Wiseman has looked very good particularly against Huddersfield when he was MOTM in my opinion.

Still as I wrote, it is only my opinion.

He's the common theme in our defence

that still seems to be conceding goals. Evidence suggests Flitcroft favours him above others cos he's ever present. Ive seen several instances of him costing us goals this season and last. I rate Flitcroft and he certainly talks a good game but Im starting to think he's too close to some of the players to be able to make the right decisions.

As is Kennedy. And M'Voto. Both of which haven't performed half as well as Wiseman in my opinion this season.

My back 3 would be Nyatanga/Cranie & Ramage though.

    I disagree

I think Mvoto is there for his height and physical presence, he certainly wouldve done a better job against Henderson. Kennedy had a good game against Huddersfield, he's left footed and we are short of natural left footed players. We have alternatives to Wiseman yet he's picked every game. Im suggesting that Flitcroft favours him, protects him from criticism and refuses to drop him. And it WILL be his downfall at this rate.

Disagree. He's not dropped him because he's played well for 6 months.

I'm more worried about his protection of Kennedy & M'Voto. I expect neither to play once he gets Nyatanga and Cranie in the defence.

the wing back system only ever worked for us whilst Stones was at RWB.

    Played well for 6 months?

made up rumour turned into widespread unfounded fallacy. He's ahd one or two good games and done a great job at hiding in the others. Take the 2 Huddersfield goals in last game of last season for example.

Of which Cranie was at fault too. But we'll conveniently gloss over that as well.

What do you mean still shipping goals? We weren't shipping goals.

    End of last season:
1/4/13 Barnsley 2-0 Leicester. Steele and Hassell played the full 90 minutes, Foster came on in the 68th minute.
6/4/13 Palace 0-0 Barnsley. Steele, Foster and Hassell all played 90 minutes.
9/4/13 Cardiff 1-1 Barnsley. Steele, Foster and Hassell all played 90 minutes. Foster scored the equaliser.

3 games against real quality Championship sides in just over a week and we concede 1 goal.

If you discount the Charlton home game where we had two players sent off and Christ knows how many injured, we conceded just 7 goals in our last 10 games. We had a reight defence. 13 in 11 if you want to include that Charlton game, which is still OK.

Steele, Foster and Hassell played superbly whenever they were called upon during that period. Proper massive hearts, backs to the wall, battling performances. Stuff to make you proud. Vital goals from them too that gave us a victory, and a draw from the jaws of defeat. I'm not discounting the work done by Wiseman, Cranie and Kennedy either. They too were superb. With Golbourne coming back from injury for the start of this season we had a fantastic defensive unit. We maybe needed a big centre half to add some competition, but the defence, after years of being fragile, was finally sorted.

We've destroyed it. Foster was dispensed with. Hassell has been dropped to youth team games and doesn't look like he has a chance of even making the bench. Steele has been dropped. We've brought in inferior players and we're shipping goals at an alarming rate. It was so right and it's been ****** up good and proper.

Wiseman has been pretty good this season.......but he has to stay switched on for the full game. He didn't on Saturday and it cost us a point. What annoys me more than anything about set pieces, is that we have time to get ourselves ready for the delivery, but we just don't learn.

Perkins is another who switches off and ultimately loses ball, or the mental delay, means he then can't get a challenge in. He gets away with a lot of blame, as the defenders/keeper is the last line of defence and they take the bullet.
