Wonder after his comments in Chron. "I prefer centre back to right back " he had a spat with Burnley and thats why he has not been in the side , on that performance I cannot believe they have anyone better than him backing up their first choice pairing , only been a season at Burnley and a snip at 100k ,I know they got him on a Bosman but Cotterill could not wait to get shut and his "could not turn down a good profit " does not sound quite right to me.
Spent his career at Crewe prior to Burnley His style of play certainly seems better suited to a Dario Gradi team , than Steve Cotterill's long ball game . If yesterday's performance is the norm , I think he'll fit in very well .
