Hourihane can consistently deliver a set piece in to the right area to create goal scoring opportunities better than any other player I've seen in a Reds shirt. Banksy and Redfearn were good, but this lad is on another level. Never known a Barnsley team score so many goals from free kicks and corners.

Got to agree Jay. Look back over the seasons, complaints that we never score from free kicks and corners, now it's at least 1 a game!

I think we'll have to give an extra assist to the Oldham defence for that one though. It's not that Nyatanga lost his marker, Oldham simply decided not to put anyone on him, or within 5 yards of him. Odd tactic.

Edit - It's not Nyatanga I'm talking about, it's the guy at the back post, whatshisface.

We worked on the old rowntrees building in York the othe year, doing the roof up. Opposite is the student accommodation, and trust me the lasses weren't shy. Probably no consolation to be fair!

    Holgate, Mason Holgate.

Remember that name, he's gonna be a star (or a brilliant TV Private Eye).

Same for George Waring, he'll either be a football star or a 1950's Police Inspector.

    Reminds me of Barnard.

I think you're right though. Can't recall ever watching us before and always expecting a chance of a goal from a corner or indirect free-kick. Needs to run abart a lot though or he'll nivver mek it.
