people on here obssessed with derbies, what about our games with coventry and norwich, much worse perfomances
ryhilltyke if derby games mean nothing more to you you are wasting your time being a football fan rivalries make the game what it is - without them it's pointless
As opposed to Our brilliant peformances these past few seasons against Wednesday & Donny, when the local lads were playing? For example, first goal conceeded against Wednesday at home last season was Austin's fault, the second was due to Williams, the third was because of Kay. In the away game, Heckingbottom got himself sent off. As for the Donny games, when did the local lads do anything productive?Answer, they didn't. Donny won every game comfortably. The results in the derby games have had nothing to do with the birthplace on the player's passports.
RE: As opposed to But you could pick loads of other games where we have played well in derbies (shipperley's winner at Bramall lane for example) with all british players
Oh I agree However, I don't think that the local lads who've played for us in recent years would've made a positive contribution to this season's derbies' results. Just my opinion.
i didn't say they don't mean anything, they are 4 games out of 46 think it should be put into perspective.
RE: As opposed to When Ships played we had a far better team and werent punching above our weight like we are now in this league.
RE: We Lost 3-0 At Hull City Which Is A Derby....... Wether you chose to or not it is. Two Yorkshire teams makes it a derby.
