I went through every emotion under the sun and probably aged 5 years in the process. Those few minutes just about summed up the peaks and troughs we've been through, throughout the season, but for once, just once, a result somewhere else went our way. It couldnt have happened at a better time. So proud to be a barnsley fan today, it's been emotional.
What a day, a result had to go for once in these last 5 months and just at the right time. The way Flickers adventure is gone, it had to be done, it had to be late, and it had to be dramatic. It has had everything, standing ovations when we lose 6-0 at home, supporters of other team mobbing our players, us giving the opposition an ovation during their lap of honour. Its been a great ride
The scenes at the end were unbelievable, massive good will on both sides. I have never been on a football coach where opposition fans clap and wave as you leave the town. A unique and memorable day that will go down in the annals of the club as a great day and hopefully a turning point in our fortunes.
