Cleared of all charges in his recent court case. Fair play to him but how can he put that all behind him. The bloke has my sympathy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Its not great though is it Westminster magistrates said the victims were believable but that the bench "could not be sure that in the context it was a criminal offence". Put it this way if I was one of the girls dads I think I would have been having a 'word ' with him about what he called 'banter'
And yet a woman in Barnsley has completely made up rape claims in the hope of ruining someone's life. Who is this woman? You'll never know as she has been given anonymity mdespite being fined for maliciously making up the allegation. The law is an ass
You could argue N Y Red that those comments from the bench are not helpful. If he's been found not guilty they should close it with a 'move along nothing to see here' Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Prosecutors had claimed the DJ had exploited the privilege that came with his fame to abuse women and girls. One of his alleged victims said she was 14 when Mr Fox took her to an underground car park at Capital Radio in Euston, central London, and kissed her. The court had also heard from a woman who was 14 when Mr Fox allegedly kissed her and slid his hand up her skirt at a motor show in Bromley, south-east London, in July 1991. Thing is he's not denying it just calling it 'banter' as I said if I had been one of the girls fathers I would have explained the term to him
He was telling you he wanted to see your test results but had a mouth full of food so sounded like testicles
yes but those were allegations put forward by the prosecution - a prosecution which failed I need to read up on it more but it strikes me as though the bench have made some quite vague comments which are along the lines of nothing proven but....... which is difficult and unfair on him I think
The strange thing is that non of the allegations warranted a Crown Court hearing and the 'trial' was dealt with at Magistrates and even oddly the Magistrate seemed to say the prosecution didn't prove the allegations were even offences which is bizarre
kinnell Now got me thinking. Was Captain Sensible really a captain? (Surely just by wearing a sailor hat does not give you that power) Was Duke Ellington from royal stock? Similar question regarding Lady Gaga. Bloody frauds the lot of em.
The problem with anything like this is you're told by the judge you can't come to a guilty verdict unless you're sure of the defendant's guilt. You can be 95% confident someone's guilty but can't give a guilty verdict. I'm not trying to say Fox is guilty / not guilty just that in a case like this it's one word against another & a not guilty verdict is likely to be the outcome.
