    Broke his ankle today at the match. Don't know why they signed a sicknote for in the first place. He's never made full potential of what people thought he was capable of.

    Why is their more injuries in football these days than ever before? I reckon at least part of the problem is football players wearing fancy boots that are ***** for protecting you, hence why we hear so much about foot injuries these days.

    It's nowt to do with footwear, its the pace of the .........

    game, although I'm guessing, I'll bet that there's more injuries in our domestic divisions than any other leagues worldwide, purely because our game has retained the fast physical aspect, whereas foreigners play like 13 year old girls.

    agree about the foot injuries... but that's not a broken ankle. Also the ball is in play far more since the back pass rule was abolished. Multiball doesn't help.
