Frank Lump 'o lard to appeal tomorrow

Chelsea have appealed against Frank Lampard's dismissal in Saturday's 4-0 Premier League victory at West Ham.

The midfielder tangled with Luis Boa Morte and then pushed the winger after appearing to get caught by a kick.

Referee Peter Walton consulted his assistant before brandishing his red card and then booked Michael Ballack for his part in the melee that ensued.

The Football Association said that the appeal against an automatic three-game ban will be heard on 4 March.

I said when I saw it at the weekend that they'd appeal, and that it would be overturned....Middlesborough should sue if it does.

    Hope It's Succesful

Two reasons for that. The first being he didn't deserve to be sent off and the second being I want to see him play. Although I hope he doesn't score against us, like he did in our first ever premiership game.

    Well....if it does

It will go to show what Matt Le Tissier was saying on Soccer Saturday - when he was saying the big clubs get the decisions.
If they increased the Middlesborough player's ban then they should do the same with Lampard.

Hopefully, the song 'n dance Boro made .....

..... and especially the fact that they compared themselves to Chelsea, will put a bit of pressure on the committee who will hopefully return another "frivolous" verdict. Which may or may not rule him out of the replay too ! :$
